Objectives

The Doctorate in Engineering Sciences, mentioning Industrial Engineering, of an academic nature, has the general objective of training specialist scientists in the fields of Operations Management and Organization Management, capable of creating and developing scientific research and technological innovation relevant to the discipline of Industrial Engineering, with an ethical and sustainable sense.

The specific objectives of the Program are:

a) Provide students with knowledge, theories, methodologies and specific tools, for the diagnosis of Industrial Engineering problems, as well as for the design and application of solutions with an ethical and sustainable sense, in the fields of Operations Management and Management of Organizations, determining its theoretical-practical relevance in the discipline of Industrial Engineering.

b) Contribute to the solution of problems specific to Industrial Engineering, pertinent to the areas of Operations Management and Organization Management, through the creation and development of scientific research and technological innovation, with an ethical and sustainable sense.

c) Disseminate and consolidate the knowledge generated as a result of the Program's activities and its impact on the discipline of Industrial Engineering, through technology transfer and relevant scientific publications at the national and international level.
